How an engagement works
Most consulting firms hand you a deck and disappear. We stay in the room until the new habits stick.
Diagnostic interview
A 90-minute session with each member of your leadership team, conducted one-on-one. We ask about decision bottlenecks, meeting cadence, the last three conflicts that went unresolved, and what they would change if politics didn't exist. This is where the real picture forms.
Pattern report
Within ten business days you receive a written report mapping the five to eight patterns we found: where authority is unclear, where information hoarding slows decisions, where two roles overlap without either person knowing. No jargon, no 80-page binder. Typically 12 pages.
Structured workshops
Four half-day sessions over six weeks. Each one tackles a specific pattern from the report. We use live role-play, real agenda items from your actual calendar, and written commitments that each participant signs. The workshops happen in your office, not a rented ballroom.
Accountability check-ins
Bi-weekly 45-minute calls for three months after the workshops end. We review what changed, what slipped, and what needs a second pass. If a participant missed a commitment, we address it directly on the call. No one hides behind email.
What we do
Three practice areas. Each one can stand alone or combine with the others depending on what the diagnostic reveals.
Executive team alignment
6–10 person teams 12-week engagementWhen your VP of operations and your VP of product disagree on priorities every quarter, the rest of the company feels it within days. We map each executive's actual decision authority against what the org chart claims, surface the gaps, and rebuild the operating rhythm so quarterly planning takes two days instead of two weeks.
Typical outcome: leadership meeting time drops by 35% within three months because fewer decisions get re-litigated.
Individual leadership coaching
1-on-1 6 monthsDesigned for a newly promoted director or VP who got the title but not the toolkit. Sessions run every two weeks for 75 minutes. Between sessions we assign specific practice: one difficult conversation to initiate, one delegation to execute, one meeting to restructure. We review what happened, not what was intended.
This is not therapy. We don't explore childhood patterns. We drill concrete management behaviours until they become reflexive.
Succession and transition planning
Founder exits Merger integrationA founder who has run the company for 15 years carries institutional knowledge that no document captures. We conduct structured knowledge-transfer sessions, build a 90-day transition calendar, and coach the incoming leader through their first board meeting, first budget cycle, and first personnel crisis.
For mergers, we focus on the first 120 days: which culture norms survive, which reporting lines change, and how to communicate the answers without triggering a wave of résumé updates.
Measured outcomes from recent engagements
These numbers come from client-reported data collected at the 6-month mark after our engagement ended.
